Race Day Schedule:
- 7:00 - 8:15 am ~ Registration, Check-in, Packet pick-up
- 8:55 am ~ Pre-race meeting
- 9:00 am ~ Race starts
- 12:00 pm ~ Course closed
- 12:00-1:30 pm ~ Post-race party
Race Information:
Athletes can do the race as an individual, 2 person team or 3 person team. We will also have a relay division consisting of the following: (1 person kayaks, 1 bikes 1 runs and all do the 10 special challenges)
You can bring your own kayak, or canoe, or rent one from us. Click on the canoe rental form and submit that with your application.
A ll teams must start and finish together unless you are in the relay division.
The course starts with a 1 mile run around the lake, then a 2 mile Kayak / Canoe followed by the 100 yard portage, you must carry your canoe/kayak 100 yards. Next is the 11 mile mountain bike ride. After the ride your will all compte in the 10 special challenges, which includes balancing, wall climbs, mental challenges, rope climbs and more. A 3 mile run finishes the race.
***Also, We are having a Free Adventure Race Clinic hosted by 5 Time Champion Ken Robbins on the Sat before the Race at the Race site from noon till 3, but you must sign up w Ken @ www.champxterra@yahoo.com You can also pick up your race bag and number or register for race .The only eqipment needed is a mountain bike with a helmet and a kayak/canoe, paddles and life vests (if you are not renting from us).
Make sure you bring a couple of extra sneakers and a change of clothes. There are hot showers available after the race, massage therapy, DJ, and with our ususal awesome raffle (a mtn bike + a whole bunch of other products).
We'll be having a pizza party and giving out our awesome awards.
